Ingredients: • 1 pound ground beef • 1 cup white onion (chopped) • 5 cloves garlic (chopped) • 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce • 1½ tablespoons dried oregano • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon • 1 teaspoon black pepper • 1 teaspoon salt • 1pound dried ziti pasta • 1½ cups alfredo sauce (store bought or homemade) • 1 cup ricotta cheese • Fresh flat leaf parsley

1. Preheat oven broiler on low setting. Add ground beef to Sauteuse and heat over medium heat. Use Spatula to break up meat.
2. Add chopped garlic and onions. Lower heat to low-medium heat and continue to cook for 3-5 minutes.

3. Once meat is cooked through, add tomato sauce and 2 cups water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, turn heat down.

4. Add oregano, cinnamon, salt and pepper.

5. Stir until spices are well incorporated. Turn up heat to return to boil and add dry pasta. Stir again and boil for 3 minutes.
6. Reduce heat to low, cover with lid, and simmer for 20 minutes.
7. Combine ricotta cheese and alfredo sauce in small bowl. Give the pasta another stir and top with alfredo mixture and a sprinkle of dried oregano.

8. Place under the broiler in oven for 2-3 minutes.

9. Remove and top with fresh parsley. Serve right away.
