Ingredients: • 2 pounds beef sirloin • 2 tablespoons olive oil • 1 large onion (sliced) • 3 bell peppers (multi-colored, cut into strips) • 5 cloves garlic (chopped) • 2 cups beef broth • ½ cup soy sauce • 1 tablespoon white sugar • 1 (15 oz.) can crushed tomatoes • 2 tablespoons hot sauce (chef's choice) • 1 teaspoon salt • 1½ teaspoons black pepper • 3 cups cooked rice • 2-3 green onions (sliced) for garnishing

1. Heat oil in Skillet over medium heat. Slice sirloin into ½ slices. Season with salt, pepper, and half of the chopped garlic.
2. Brown the steak in batches in the Skillet. Once cooked, set meat aside. No need to clean out the pan.
3. Turn heat down to medium-low and add sliced onions and remaining garlic to the Skillet. Cook for 3 minutes and then set aside.
4. Add beef broth and soy sauce. Use spatula to scrape off bits of garlic.
5. Add sugar and hot sauce. Turn heat up enough to boil the mixture for 2 minutes, (or until sauce has thickened.)
6. Turn heat down to low and add meat and onions back in. Add the crushed tomatoes as well.
7. Stir to combine and cover with lid. Cook for 45 minutes.
8. Add the sliced peppers, turn off the heat, and cover once again. Cook for another 5 minutes.
6. Remove from heat. Plate with rice and garnish with sliced green onions.
