Ingredients • 1 pound ground beef (or turkey) • ½ cup bread crumbs • 5 cloves garlic (grated) • 4 teaspoons fresh ginger (grated) • 1½ teaspoons salt • 1 teaspoon black pepper • 1 egg • 4 green onion stalks (sliced) • 1 teaspoon red chili flakes • ½ cup brown sugar • ½ cup apple cider vinegar • 1 cup ketchup • 1 tablespoon Louisiana Hot Sauce

1. Preheat oven to 375º F. In a large bowl, add in bread crumbs, ground beef, egg, 2 teaspoons grated ginger, 3 cloves grated garlic, 1 stalk sliced green onions, salt, and pepper.

2. Mix with hands and roll into meatballs. These are appetizers, so about 1½ inches in diameter is the best size. Place onto griddle.

3.Bake in oven for 25 minutes. Meanwhile, make sauce by combining the vinegar, brown sugar, ketchup, hot sauce, 2 teaspoons grated ginger, 2 cloves grated garlic, chili flakes, and 2 stalks sliced green onions. Mix well.
4. Add the sauce to the Sauté Pan. Heat over medium until bubbly. Remove the meatballs from the oven and drop into the sauce.

5. Turn off the heat and move meatballs around until fully coated in sauce. Transfer to serving dish and spoon remaining sauce on top. Garnish with toothpicks and sliced green onions.
