Limited Edition Classic Teakettle Apple Red (1.8 Qt.)

I received my kettle about two weeks ago and while i love most everything about it, there are a few things that keep me from giving 5 stars. First, almost the entire kettle is metal, However, there is a little plastic bit inside of the whistle flap covering the spout, it doesnt seem to look like a part that will break out, and if it does, it doesnt look essential, so im not too worried about it, But i was trying to go for Zero plastic, so thats just one small thing that bugs me. The other slight issue i have is i almost always lose a drop or two of water when im pouring into my cup, however my wife says she doesnt notice that, so this could be a personal pouring problem. The inside of the pot is a beautiful blue enamel, the outside is an equally lovely red, and both inside and outside wipe clean easily without my giant hands getting stuck in awkward positions trying to clean the inside.
All in all, this teapot is loved by all in the family, and is a welcome addition to the stove top

This kettle in red has brought a spark of joy in my kitchen for 15 years. My second to replace original that was left on burner overnight… yikes! Looked at other brands and colors but nothing could replace my original love.

This is my second red whistling tea kettle...love it..had my last one 25 years until I did something to it and then needed a new one....was my fault and not the product. I love that I can walk away from the stove and not have to worry about keeping an eye on the tea kettle...I can hear that whistle a mile away! Sounds like a train coming into a station..so much fun!...it definitely gets my attention to go shut off the stove when the water all boiled.

This is my 3rd Chantal teakettle. For some reason the whistle does not work. We have checked the seals and everything. Will keep it because it is gorgeous but a little disappointed
