Arrived in perfect condition, looks really nice. The whistle is plenty loud but can be "turned off" if you want. Took 1 star off because it always dribbles a few drops down the front of the kettle after pouring into a cup or teapot, just the way the spout is designed I think. Not a big deal.

The kettle is not even 3 months old and all the finish inside has flaked off into sharp pieces . This is not safe to use.
Thoroughly disappointed in the quality.
I do not recommend this tea kettle at all!
After a few weeks using this brand new kettle, I noticed that it was starting chipping. It is getting worse even if I pay attention to use it properly.
There is no way to have a refund or exchange.
I would nt recommand that product.
I gave this to a friend for a Christmas gift. The enamel already started chipping around the spout, and when my friend contacted customer service they told her that it must be due to thermal shock and refused to replace it under the warranty. The kettle has only undergone regular use for boiling water for about 6 weeks. The care instructions do not advise on how to avoid the enamel from chipping. I did a lot of research before ordering this tea kettle before selecting Chantal, so I'm very disappointed to get such terrible service from such an old company.
