Crown Sourdough Crock

The perfect crock to produce your sourdough starter. Loose fitting lid allows gases to escape. Non-reactive glazed inside and out. Crock can hold 2 pounds of brown sugar or 1 pound of flour. Chantal's exceptionally strong, non-porous semi-gloss glaze won't react with foods or flavors. You can slice and serve directly from this dish, without worrying about scratches. Crafted to ensure excellent heat distribution, our scone pan promotes even baking. We hand-sand the base for a smooth, no-scratch surface. It cleans easily in the dishwasher and is microwave, oven and freezer safe. All Chantal ceramics are lead and cadmium safe and meet FDA and CA Prop 65 requirements.
