I teach at a university. Someone who was a one-year replacement for a faculty member in our department bought one of these, then left it with us when he returned home to South Korea at the end of the term. That was at least four years ago, and even with our hard water and occasional abuse (one of my colleagues invariably lets it sit half-full overnight), the inside of the kettle is spotless. So, I'm here shopping for my own Chantal kettle.
