I have own my kettle (Red) for at least 21 years. I love it. It’s loud, and sings in the key of C. The time has come to change up the kitchen. So I was hoping perhaps you’ll come out with a deep teal.
The old one is still in beautiful condition so I’ll give it away. Thank you
Love the look, feel of this tea kettle. BUT, it drips about half the time when pouring.
Replaced my old Enamel on Steel Teakettle that I had for many years. It never dripped.
I'll never understand why companies mess with perfection. The brushed stainless steel finish was just that. I've had mine for years and now the spout is starting to have issues. I would love to buy another one but it isn't available. Why not?? So disappointed.
I agree with Jeff and I liked the brushed stainless finish much better than the polished. It used to be offered through Williams-Sonoma but it is no longer. I was just wondering if it’s possible to purchase this brushed stainless finish anywhere.
We had a stainless kettle that we used for many years. We bought this one to replace it after it developed a leak in the spout. The new one has a polished instead of brushed finish. The polished finish is already starting to get stained and there is no good way to clean it without scratching the surface. A brushed finish is easier to maintain. In addition, the quilted handle cover is roughly half the thickness of the old one. With the old one you felt zero heat if you slipped it on and poured after heating the water. The new one allows enough heat through that you want to put down the pot quickly. The original teapot was a near-perfect classic. The new one much less so. I hope Chantal considers reverting the design back to the original design.
