Rusty Inside

I love the design and color (cobalt blue) of this kettle, but the inside is now rusty and the whistle never worked properly. I see from other reviews that dropping it is a possibility for causing rusting, but I have never dropped mine.

Rust bucket

Noticed the enamel failing inside my several year old kettle. Customer service accused me of dropping it. There's no damage to the exterior and I never dropped it. I asked her to receive the kettle and see it in person. Instead she stuck to a stock response "I'm so sorry you dropped your kettle."

After seeing pics on Amazon reviews I am certain they have manufacturing issues with the surface preparation and coating. This product is not worth wasting money on. Buyer beware and customer service shame on you for playing the blame game.

Look at the pics and reviews on Amazon. Clearly they have issues and poor quality and durability.

Warning Do not buy

I received this as a gift and it is rusting on the inside. This kettle has been well cared for. I only use distilled water and I live in an arid climate. I kept it cleaned and dry, no damage has been done to the kettle. So disappointing, as I really like the design.
