This gasket fits the stainless kettle SL37-19, and the copper kettle SL37-19CP. This gasket also fits the pre-2008 German-made colored enamel kettle #37-18s. This gasket does not fit the current Thai-made version of the Classic kettle.
I purchased this replacement part thinking it was an identical size and thickness. the replacement is a little larger and tends to bulge out the side of the rim on the kettle. It did however stop the flow of steam escaping from the rim, so it works. I would purchase again.

The item arrived and looked thicker than the original, but I tried it on the kettle lid and although it is more obvious, it works well and the difference doesn’t matter (visually or physically). 👍
The part was a gasket, it works well, but the cost of shipping was outrageous
For a part that weight was almost nothing…
Easy to order a simple lid gasket. Sign of our times? It cost $3.50 for postage for a $3.00 part.
