Not what I thought it would be

I like the size of this skillet for many dishes that I make. I have not found it easy to clean like it advertises. My daughter recommended this since she has one and likes it. Hers is smoother on the inside and I have been in contact with the company several times about this and it not cleaning up without having to put baking soda and water and heating for 10 minutes then scrubbing with a plastic scrubber. I do not use higher than a medium heat as per the instructions and to date have had to clean it with the baking soda method everytime I use it which is very inconvenient and disappointing. When I send in pictures they respond with it looks like I have burnt the food which isn't the case at all. I do want to brown some of the food I cook. I am also disappointed that I cannot find out if this is a pan made in the Germany or China, since it isn't easily found I'm just guessing that it is China in which case I would not have purchased it.
